About us:
Hydraulix (a sister company of GM Equipment Rentals) is a hydraulic and electrical repair facility located in Columbus OH. We specialize in hydraulic, electrical and cylinder repair of boom trucks, bucket trucks, auger trucks, tow trucks as well as aerial and heavy equipment. Whether a customer is in need of hydraulic repair, electrical diagnostics, dielectric testing or inspection services, Hydraulix will make the repair. Our main focus is taking care of our customers with quick and dependable service.

 As a result of our significant growth Hydraulix is in need of (1) full-time Boom Truck Mechanic for our Columbus, OH location.

Job responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
  • Diagnosing customer complaints
  • Fixing / Replacing broken parts
  • Hydraulic & Electrical repairs
  • Performing OSHA & DOT inspections
  • Customer relations
  • Completing proper paperwork in accordance with work done that day
  • ETC.
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment / boom truck repair
  • Be knowledgeable with hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Be knowledgeable with diesel engine repair
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new skills and ability to take direction
  • Must have a valid driver's license (DOT medical card a plus)
  • Willingness to work paid over-time
  • ETC.
